Oriba Storm (born August 19, 1979 in Bamberg,
Germany; real name Oliver Liptak) is a music producer from Bamberg, Germany. He mainly produces a variety of electronic music styles. The artist's name is made up as follows: Oriba is a kind of japanese modification of his first name Oliver. The surname Storm is taken from his first published Song "Sound Storm". Already as a child he was highly interested in music. His parents very early discovered his musical talent, and supported it, by not only sending him to the local choir, but also by enabling him piano lessons. With the age of 16 he totally felt in love with all kinds of electronic music, such as dance, house, rave, techno, and so on. So he got his first DAW (Logic) and Synthesizers and started to make this kind of music on his own. With the age of 18 he in addition had regularly performances as DJ for some years. He has also successfully completed a musical academic training (2013 - 2015) at the "Deutsche Pop" in Nuremberg and Munich (Germany), not only to follow his passion - the music, but also to improve and solidify his musical skills, and learn these professional. Thereby he obtained the following diplomas: Audio Designer, Audio Engineer, Audio Producer, Music Designer, Artistic Producer, Mastering Engineer. Meanwhile he has his own music studio and music label, where he produces his own music; mainly a variety of electronic music styles - such as dance, complextro, house, trance, techno, and so on. |
